Welcome to the Imagination Network
We are a diverse group of artists, healthcare professionals, academics and advocates engaging in creative projects with older adults aiming to change the way we view and experience aging in our community.
BACKSTAGE PASS is a virtual on-line extravaganza of research, puppetry, dialogue, music, discussion, sculpture and so much more. Experience a new way to view aging and dementia.
AN EVENT REIMAGINED
In September 2017, The Imagination Network brought together a team of people to research and create a theatrical production that explored the lived experience of dementia through the ideas, creativity and ingenuity of those living it. The planned premiere was set for July 2020 at Good Samaritan Canada Christenson Village, a 140 person care home in Gibsons BC. After the COVID 19 pandemic hit, production plans were halted. Dauntless and determined, the group forged on. Pivoting like the rest of society to on-line platforms, a new plan emerged: BACKSTAGE PASS, a virtual on-line extravaganza.
